How can talking therapies help me?
Having an opportunity to sit with someone in a safe, non-judgemental space to explore your concerns and be curious and supportive about positive changes you make can feel extremely powerful.
If certain parts of your life are becoming overwhelming, or perhaps it feels like your issue is impacting on all parts of your life, then you may want to consider talking therapies. I am an integrative therapist, drawing on theories, tools, and techniques from the following therapies, Solution Focused Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Person-Centred Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including third waves such as CFT, ACT, START), and Creative Relational Psychotherapy. Together, we identify your best hopes for our work together and then work meaningfully and compassionately towards you achieving them at the right time and pace for you.
I offer a professional, compassionate relationship with all clients, adhering to the British Psychological Society ethical standards of practice and the General Data Protection Regulations (2018) which protects your privacy and rights to confidentiality.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME
I’m a humanistic, person-centred integrative therapist offering compassionate support during some of life’s most challenging times. Difficulties can often cause us to experience anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief and loss. My approach is rooted in creating a comforting, non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard and accepted. I hold Carl Rogers’ core conditions at the heart of my work; empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard, walking alongside you as we explore your experiences together.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches, I tailor each session to your unique needs. These may include using tools and techniques from Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (SFH & SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic approaches, and creative relational methods such as using objects like stones to symbolise emotional experiences. I also incorporate timeline work to support the initial assessment, helping us understand how early life experiences and attachments may influence current patterns of thought, behaviour, physical sensations, and emotions.
I see clients face to face in my private therapy room in the heart of Milnrow, Rochdale, and also work with people worldwide via secure video conferencing. I’m passionate about anxiety, loss, social justice, dementia, and helping you explore the deeper roots of your struggles, gently guiding you toward greater awareness, encouraging you to process difficult experiences, and initiating meaningful change. Together, we’ll work towards interrupting unhelpful cycles and moving you toward the life you want to live, at your pace, in your way.
